Akira Trees is a photographer based in London. He made his start as a studio assistant in London and worked his way up to a first assistant on international shoots.

Having assisted for artists from some of London’s major agencies (Minititle, LGA, M&A, Lalaland). Assisting them for publications and commercial clients such as Arena Homme +, Numero, Porter, The Sunday Times Style, Zara, Allsaints and Urban Outfitters etc.

Akira is now working as a freelance photographer, taking inspiration from conceptual works, and using narratives within his images.​
